About the event

What is it?

The Eshop Montreal team, in partnership with the Bois de Belle-Rivière regional educational park, set up a sporting and social event to highlight the exciting side of alternative modes of transport for the public in order to attract and educate them on the subject. The goal is to promote realistic and immediately available alternatives to solo driving and even public transport that is costly to implement for administrations. All this by bringing together the different PEV's communities by offering them secure places to test themselves, socialize and strengthen their skills. This is the first event of its kind, of this scale, in Canada.

Over three days, participants will be able to take part in races, competitions, demonstrations and share moments of camaraderie in the enchanting setting of Bois de Belle-Rivière park in Mirabel.

Competing vehicles will include EUCs, Onewheels and Electric Scooters. The park offers privileged access to more than 25 km of rock dust, chip and dirt trails, allowing you to create varied and stimulating courses.

A specially designed village will be separated from the rest of the park, offering tent and RV camping space, parking, food trucks, local beers, and a stage with music. In addition to the competitions, participants and visitors will have access to park services, including fishing in a stocked pond with the possibility of cooking fish caught on site, pickleball, water games, a swimming pool and a paddling pool, a complete circuit (18 holes) of Disc Golf and a dog park.

Categories:

1- Time trial: Long track, individually timed. If you would like to experience the feeling of competing but without risking too much, this race is for you (2 attempts to set your best time and potentially qualify!)

2- Circuit: Several laps on a shorter track, 4 at a time, with tournament style brackets. A tougher race, you will have to manage your space and your overtaking. Excitement guaranteed. (the best times will go directly to the grand final!)

3- Mass start: All those registered for each discipline (Euc/Onewheel/Escoot) start at the same time, the first to arrive wins. Lots of traffic, lots of overtaking, a bit scary! (Start by wave, category by category)
